How long does it take for a letter to arrive to its destination?

I don't know how to answer your question accurately because I'm not from Philippines and I've never sent letter to Wisconsin. But I'd mailed an international letter before..I'm from Malaysia and I'd mailed my letter to United Kingdom. It took nearly a year for me to get the reply letter..So, I don't know whether your mail will take a month or a week to reach your friend..
