Do gay men like flamboyantly gay men?

i have lots of gay friends, i used to be a raver (lots of gays in the rave scene) and almost off of them were friends with me so in no way am i judging. i am very curious.ive met many gay guys that are act like every other "normal" person and its hard to tell they are gay, but on the other hand i have met some that are completely over the top and have to let the world no their sexuality. i really want to know if other gay men like that? it seems very feminine to me and i just think if i were male and gay then im gay b/c i like guys so why would i want a guy that acts like a girl?
