How do you get ant and the eggs out of a car air conditioner?

car been sitting turned on the air and there were ants and eggs spewing out all over me!!! hard not to wreck! can I spray something in the vents like an ant killer don't want it blowing back out on me. but I want to get rid of these pesky little buggars! thanks!
