What do the mr. brightside lyrics mean?

So I just finished listening to mr. Brightside off the killers hot fuss cd (which I haven't listened to in awhile) and although I pretty much figure what most of the song is about it brings me back to the same question what do the ending lyrics I Never mean??? Anyone know or have their own intrepretation???
