Can I do this with my degree?

I am about to start my senior year of high school. I want to be an astronomy/astrophysics major. But the school that i will most likely go to doesn't have that program (I'm probably going to University of Wisconsin Milwaukee). They do have a physics program -- like most schools. Now, would I be able to get the physics degree, and then be able to go to a graduate school that has the astronomy/astrophysics program and get a masters, and then PhD in that area of study, even though I would have a bachelors in physics? Or should I try my hardest my first two years, get my general ed out of the way, and transfer to U of chicago, or UW madison?

How do I stop my 7 in a half month old from being so darn whiny?

Maybe talk to his doctor, but he sounds normal. My first son was a piece of cake (other than him being 13 weeks premature...Now 2yrs old). My second on the other hand is 7 months old (4 months adjusted for prematurity). And he is very whiny also. He gets upset if we walk out of his view. He is also very impatient. He doesn't have any teeth yet. I found out that he has to have a small little blanket and he covers his eyes with it, then he is fine and will go to sleep...I play music at night for him and leave the light on so he will go to sleep. Sometimes it's just trial and error as every child is different. You just have to find what they like and what makes them happy. My fist son did not like to watch tv, but my second does. He loves it when I put him in front of the tv in his bouncer (when I am cleaning or doing something with his brother). I too thought that the older and more independant they are the easier it gets, but that isn't neccessarily true either. When my first started getting old enough to play with his toys he wasn't happy because he wanted me to play with his toys with him. He is two and has finally started playing by himself, but now it's worse because he gets into EVERYTHING! Now im assuming that your son can sit up (mine can't)...But when my first one was little I would put him on the floor and make a circle around him with a ton of toys, so he wouldn't get bored with just one. So much pain after tonsillectomy?

A week ago yesterday I got my tonsils out. They said everything looked fine and I could go home after about an hour in the recovery room. The first two days I was really well compared to what I thought it would be like those days. Then on the third day I was in a lot of pain. It got better on the fourth and the fifth. Then the night before last I got a really really bad ear ache in both of my ears after eating dinner. I took the prescription pain killer (Tylenol with codine that I had stopped taking maybe after the fourth day) and was fine. Then yesterday I woke up with a horrible ear ache and took plain extra strength Tylenol for that. Then after I ate dinner yesterday I got a really really bad earache that didn't go away for a few hours until I took more medicine. Then last night I went to bed around midnight and woke up at one am and was in excruciating pain in my right ear with pain (although minimal) in my left ear. I started to cry and in about half an hour the pain started to die down and I went back to sleep. At four in the morning I woke up again and was in so much pain, I hoped the pain would die down like it did earlier in the night but it didn't so I took more of the perscription, but it felt like it did nothing. Then I woke up this morning at nine and was in a lot of pain again. I quickly surfed the internet for things I could do to numb the pain. I'm now icing my right ear and its working a little, I am not in as much pain as I was when I woke up but its not so little I could just forget about it. Please help, I'm only twelve going to be thirteen soon and I don't want to be in pain on my thirteenth birthday. Also, I'm starting summer camp for musical theater next week and I have to sing and dance and act, but it hurts to talk how am I going to be able to sing? Everyone says I should be talking fine because it has been more than a week but it hurts like hell! I don't know what to do?

I'm going to a new school soon?

So I'm transferring from a big public high school (grade 9) to a tiny (22 student) alternative school. I'm transferring out for a few reasons- drugs, kids at my school are very straight-edge, I have ADHD so I have trouble focusing, also I'm more of the alternative type person.. Anyway, I'm either transferring this week or for grade 10. I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm in serious need of dental work and unfortunately have no medical or no dental. I make little to nothing on my paycheck from work. I'm struggling with a philosophical theory. I am neither judge nor jury. I do not wish to pass judgement on others. How then, can I view the wrong-doing in others' actions without passing judgement? Do I have to accept everything as permitted and abolish every concept of right and wrong I've ever been taught? If I do that, then I lack the potential to help victims of wrong-doing. If I judge an action as wrong, though, then I take myself and my viewpoint as superior to that person, and therefore use my self-proclaimed superiority to justify intervening in said wrong-doing. Ok so I have a Toshiba laptop and lately we have been finding ants hiding in between the keys. I was really grossed out so without thinking I grabbed the nearest bottle of ant killer/pesticide and sprayed it all over the keys, in between and everything. But I am only 14 and I don't know that much about computers ok! Now whenever I go to type, some of the keys, when pressed, don't only type the one letter or number as they should. For example, if I typed the letter T, on a normal keyboard it would come out as so on the screen. But on my laptop, when I type T, it would come out like this: eT5. And remember I only pressed the T key. That's just one of them. And whenever I press backspace it makes me go back to the previous page! So the only way I can delete ia to scroll over and press cut. I have anger issues and yeah when my boyfriend and I fight I get pretty into it and cuss. But I know how to control myself to a point so I never say anything too mean because i know its not worth losing my boyfriend over my anger issues. Every Brewer game i go to, theres usually 1 or 2 people signing autographs. Thats it! Out of a 25 man roster for Milwaukee and 25 man roster for the away team. All these fans are the ones who go to support them and cheer them on and root for them. Even to run by and give everyone a high five. Especially bullpen pitchers or starting pitchers who aren't pitching that day.. What else do they have to do before games than come over and greet some fans? How can I get some self-esteem?

I don't feel like I made my parents proud even though they say they are. I'm the only one of of my parents kids to graduate from high-school and not end up pregnant. I'm 20 yrs old male that is 5"6 and 117 lbs, yeah I know, pretty freaking skinny and small. I tried going to the gym but the nearest one is a little over in hour away and the gas prices was killing me so I stopped going. I still live with my parents and there on this NO carb diet, and eat vary little, so there is vary little food in the house. I have a job as a waiter but with them making me pay rent, and my cell bill , and other crap it's hard to fork over money to pay for my own food. Last year I bought some stuff I could use at the house, like the perfect push ups, iron gym, and I bought a bench press with a curling bar also. I was working out, for 6 months 6 days a week on everything, and I was only drinking water and 2% milk. I was trying to eat good, like peanut butter sandwiches and meat but again it got to expensive since I pay for everything. After 6 months I only gained, 3 lbs. So that was a BIG morale killer and I basically gave up. So now I'm on here, yahoo asking since You know my situation what is the best way to gain weight? I haven't tried protein shakes or weight gain pills, or anything like that, do they work? If so can I mix them together? Like take those pills and drink those weight gainer drinks? Which ones on the marker actually work? Or if there a waste of money, what should I do?

I saw bmth back in March with A Day to Remember (really great show) as for standing, I recommend the front or the back or to the side, they like to make a wall of death during their shows in the middle so you might just die haha, and they haven't announced any u.s tour dates yet but there's a good chance they will head to milwaukee or madison. No one really does drugs at bmth shows as their just too intense to light up in the pit so tell your parents there won't be drugs. Moshes like I said get pretty crazy at times so stay to the side or the area where there's no pits. (Balcony is best for these shows if you don't like moshing and the venue has a balcony.) Merch is usually anywhere from $5-$25 so bring some cash. As for them performing live they were amazing. People will say they suck because all singers have their bad days, they may be sick or they may just have a soft voice that night. Either way you'll enjoy a show.

Honestly, there's not enough to it. It seems a little cliched- but everything is cliched a little now it seems like. I think if you added some good twists and a few sub-plots this has a lot of potential. I don't think it would suck, or be bad, but it might come out a little dull. It all depends. How do I start becoming a raver?

I know dontstayin lists the upcoming events in my state (Arizona) but the problem is I don't really have anyone to go with? Would it be strange to go to a rave alone? I went to one once last year with a friend (he's not into raving anymore so I'm not gonna ask him) and it was actually really fun. I don't care much for kandi or drugs, I just really LOVE dancing! I liked it until you said it was about pirates. After reading the plot I was less than enthusiastic. It's a good plot, but I was prepped for something in a completely different direction. I don't see how the protagonist is suffering from lack of freedom, it sounds more like he's just going on an adventure at sea and that there are bad guys waiting for him back on land. So, although you're story sounds good, it just wasn't what I was anticipating.

I've done everything else, however. I'm wondering, what does one gain from not doing alcohol? I realize to some this question is mundane and obvious, but to me, who has been a weed smoker/raver, I imagine that not floating my liver somehow affects my overall health? Or does it? Sure some would. It may not be the right thing, but they'd prescribe it. Pain killer is a lousy description, as they call tylenol a pain killer, and none of them completely get rid of the pain. But you are probably referring to are narcotic pain medications. Sometimes they are indicated, sometimes not, but doctors are often reluctant to use them, not just because of the Rx pain drug flap (mostly ignorance and misinformation) but they can also cause some pretty wicked headaches from their use. the call them rebound headaches. I don't know if you have tried the drug Fiornal? Pretty decent relief for headaches. Feel better

2 yrs ago my family and I moved from calif. to gastonia/charlotte, nc for economic reasons. during this time we have found the people here to be hickish and the general atmosphere to be what we are not wanting. we were thinking of moving to either madison/milwaukee/green bay, wi or minneapolis area. we have an 11 yr old son who is extremely smart ( tops in his class-won 11 awards at his 5th grade graduation) and want a place to raise him well with good schools, good neighborhoods, and most of all intelligent people to deal with. Excruciating toothache. Relief?

Already been to doctor. Was referred to oral surgeon who can't see me for two more weeks. Need four teeth extracted. One is abscessed and has had me in EXTEME pain for almost two days. I have been awake for 35 hours. Pain killers, ibuprofen...nothing helps. Only relief ive had is by putting ice on the problem tooth, but the pain returns with a vengeance within 10 seconds of ice melting, so I can't sleep. Any ideas? I'm losing my mind.

The idiot foreigner. He dragged him onto a stupid "quest" for his stolen backpack. When finally getting rid of him he thinks he's done. Next day comes and he can't help but drag himself to save Indigo when he gets kiddnapped by the Imfamous DR, or Dragon Raiders. After that "stupid descision" his whole life changed for good. There goes leading a normal life......... --------------_____--------- So yeah the whole story is in 1ST person. Again i can't do summarys. Im horrible... I mostly wanted to write a story with this OC i made years ago (of corse i did a LOT of changes....) Plus I've always loved fantasy stories and demons and dragons and swords and whatnot. Basically the antigonist is the 'Dragon Raiders' they are kinda like a gang. They use to be a group who kill dragons in towns. But then a leader took over and turned them into killers and murders. Does anyone know of any cool 10K or 5K events? My immediate family has finally found a unique way to spend time together: training for and running in charity 5K and 10K events. A QUESTION FOR CHEESE PLANT EXPERTS?

The term for fear of the dark is nyctophobia and the fear of water is hydrophobia a good way to deal with this is to actually do these things sit down under the dark and star gaze with a friend or loved one holding u and face ur fears then ur brain will adjust to the situation and longer make your adrenal gland shoot adrenaline through your veins (adrenaline is that surge of energy u get from fear) also you won't produce fear hormones while in the dark for water do the same sit there for an hour in the water nothing will hurt u either way so if u stay long enough u will adjust to the situations and overcome ur fears :)
